Learn to Skate Summer Camp

Learn to Skate / Learn to Play Summer Camp

Ages 4 through 7 years old

Our Summer Camp is designed to be a home away from home for

children where they can learn, laugh, grow and have fun.

We will focus on inspiring creativity and independence.

Each day the campers will have up to 1.5 hours of on-ice instruction with our skating & hockey coaches. Depending on the day, they will also have up to 1 hour of off ice training, Dance or Movement/Stretch class and/or outdoor play. This exposure to sports will offer invaluable life lessons such as working hard to accomplish goals and overcoming obstacles.

Our lessons will physically improve large muscle development & spatial awareness.

Each week features an exciting new theme. For example, during Dinosaur Week our campers will become paleontologists who go on an archeological dig for dinosaur bones, make fossils out of homemade clay and skate swizzles around dinosaur footprints!

1. Do we offer lunch?

Lunch is not included in the cost of camp.

However, we do have refrigerators for campers to store their lunches and microwaves to reheat any food items. The concession stand will also be open to any camper who wishes to pre-purchase lunch. Lunch orders can be made in advance for the week.

2. What should my child bring to camp?

All children should layer clothing to allow for easy movement. Clothing should be suitable for both off-ice and on-ice activities. Campers should wear sneakers.  Remember it is cold on the ice.  Send your camper with a jacket & gloves. A bike, ski or hockey helmet is mandatory to participate in all on-ice activities. To participate in the Learn to Play portion, please bring full hockey equipment. Keep in mind campers will be given space to store their belongings. All campers must be potty trained.

3. Can someone else pick-up my child?

Yes, written & verbal notification must be given in advance and at drop off please leave the name and phone number of the person who will be picking  up your child.

4. What will happen if I am late to pick-up my child?

No child will be left unattended. Until you or an approved person arrives to pick-up your child, they will be supervised by our staff. After 15 minutes, we will try to reach you or your emergency contact and you will be charged $15.00.
