The Pavilion Tutoring
Center

Here at the Staten Island Skating Pavilion, we strive to help children succeed in all aspects of their life whether it be playing hockey or improving their education. Our goal is to help improve your child’s understanding of the subject matter and to boost their grade.
We will be offering both group tutoring sessions and private sessions.


Cost
Group session will consist of 10 classes each session. There will be a minimum of 4 children, maximum of 15 per class. The cost of a 10 week session is $150.00 ($15.00 per class). If your child performs better in a one on one setting, an individual tutoring session costs $30.00 per hour. The time must be set up with the instructor.

Our Staff

Melissa Davis graduated from the College of Staten Island with a degree in History. She has her teaching license with the NYS Dept of Education
Sarah Tirro is currently a student at the Macaulay Honors College where she is majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. She is also a research assistant in a breast cancer research lab. Sarah has previous experience tutor both biology and chemistry.
Caryl Stingo is also currently a student at the Macaulay Honors College. She is majoring in education with a specialty in Mathematics. Caryl student teaches at Wagner High School.
Goldie Lazarus is a student at the Macaulay Honors College. She is majoring in Biology and also works as a research assistant in a breast cancer research lab. Goldie currently tutors biology, chemistry and mathematics at the College of Staten Island High School.
