      The Staten Island Skating Pavilion is proud to introduce our new coach Joe Sanger. Joe Sanger, a native Staten Islander, started his early hockey career with the Staten Island Ranger organization at the Pavilion. Joe in 1999 joined the Staten Island Sabers Junior Team, Interstate Jr Hockey League where he was named Rookie of the Year at only fifteen years old!   After Joes career with the Saborshe then was a part of the Pavilions Richmond Ruff Raiders Hockey Team. The Richmond Ruff Raiders was a part of the Continental Hockey Association.   While playing for the Richmond Ruff Raiders Joe was named a three time All Star!.  After playing for the Ruff Raiders Joe played for the Mass Maple Leafs and Division Junior A Hockey with the Metro Moose, Continental League Hockey.   Jospeh Sanger's heart and soul is with hockey . Later on in Joseph’s hockey career Joseph Sanger was invited to play with the Colorado Avalanche Rookie Camp!

    The Staten Island Ranger Midgets Team is 18 years old and under. Practice will be held on Weds and Thursday Nights. Away games will be held on Saturdays, and Home games on Sunday mornings at the Pavilion!  On Weds one hour before the ice practice a Video Analysis of the past Sunday’s game will be shown. On Thursdays dry land will be done one hour before ice time.
