Boy and Girl Scouts


Earn you Ice Skating Sports Badge!

To earn your badge, a USFS Figure Skating or USA Hockey Certified instructor will work with your troop for 1 hour. During this time, they will learn a brief introduction to ice skating history, ice skating saftey, and how to use and properly care for your ice skates. Then they will have a 1/2 hour on ice class that will teach them the basics of skating including how to properly fall down and get back up, how to skate forward and glide across the ice. This classes is offered on Mondays or Thursdays.
All participants must dress warmly in either sweat pants or snow pants, warm jacket, winter gloves and a bike helmet. Skates are provided.


Cost: $25.00 per skater
Optional: $5.00 skating patch per skater

*There is a 10 child minimum*
